Some things start with a big idea. This one started with a candle that wasn't good enough.

I kept searching for something I could actually trust — a candle that smelled incredible and burned clean, made without the junky ingredients I didn't want in our home. I'd find one that smelled amazing and read the label. Paraffin. Phthalates. I'd find one that was "natural" and light it. I could barely smell it. Every time, it was one or the other.

So I did what made sense to me at the time: I learned how to make them myself.

I wasn't trying to start a candle company. I started solving a problem I had — and it turned out other people had the same one.

My husband serves in the military. Our family knows what it means to be intentional about home. To want the place you return to after long weeks, after deployments, after everything, to feel like it's really, truly yours. Warm. Alive. Safe. That's the spirit behind every candle we pour. Not just something that smells good. Something you can feel good about burning.

Every Honor candle is made with a beeswax and coconut oil blend — beeswax for a long, clean burn, coconut oil because it carries fragrance further than any other wax we tested. Our formulas are third-party tested for safety and we only use fragrance oils free of phthalates and other toxins. We developed every candle ourselves, in small batches, refining until it was exactly right.

We named this company Honor because it reflects everything we're trying to bring to it: the ingredients, the process, the people who trust us with their homes, and the values our family has always lived by.
